(SGL) is an independent international laboratory that provides professional gemstone identification and grading services to the gems & jewelery industry worldwide through its centers in London, Dubai, Jeddah, Riyadh, Mumbai (Bombay), Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Thrissur, Coimbatore, Pune, Jaipur and Kolkata.

IGI: Yet another standard, International gemological institute certifies diamonds based on the characters of the diamond. Grading the 4Cs of the diamond, grading them, makes this certificate a highly acknowledged one.

To combat purity concerns for consumers, the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) have introduced hallmarking standards and policies. Hallmark indicates that the gold content in the jewellery has been evaluated and that the gold adheres to international standards of purity.
